We have a 2 story farmhouse in NW PA that my dad is going to knock down and/or have the fire department burn unless there is someone out there who is looking for some old hardwood.  The house is in good structural condition but the last tenants didn't do the interior any good and we don't want to spend the money it would take to restore/repair it.  Maybe there is someone out there who wants the wood, possibly a furniture manufacturer, and wants to tear it down.  It was my grandparents house and the house my dad grew up in.  If my situation was different I'd move up there, move into it and work on it as I could.

My email is frevans3@comcast.net. I don't check in here often so send me an email and post any responses here.

Hate to see old houses like that go to waste. Around here there are people that go into houses like that and strip everything possible for resale. Some times it is hard to find old wood and moldings like that house would be.

It would take a lot of time and patience to tear it apart. Some of the doors moldings and fixtures would probably bring a good price.
